How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

¿El oro en el lienzo es realmente brillante o metálico?

No. El aspecto dorado está impreso en amarillos cálidos, ocres y marrones profundos, no en tinta metálica real ni en pan de metal. En la pared se percibe rico y luminoso, pero es un acabado impreso plano. Con luz cálida de lámpara gana más profundidad, por eso funciona tan bien en estancias iluminadas por la noche.

¿Se verá demasiado recargado sobre una pared con estampado?

Sí, lo más probable. El detalle del mosaico en el vestido y el fondo ya concentra mucha atención. Queda mejor sobre una pared pintada lisa — blanco roto, piedra cálida, verde profundo o azul intenso le sientan bien. Los papeles pintados con estampado suelen competir con el dorado y aplanar la composición.

¿Necesita un marco dorado o puedo optar por uno más oscuro?

Ambas opciones funcionan. Un marco dorado extiende la sensación de dorado y tira hacia lo tradicional o art-déco. Un marco negro define la pieza y la hace sentir más contemporánea y de galería. Evita el roble claro — atenúa la calidez y hace que el dorado parezca amarillo en vez de rico.
