How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

¿El fondo dorado es realmente metálico o brillante?

No. El dorado está impreso como un color cálido mate, no como lámina ni tinta metálica. Se percibe como un dorado suave, ligeramente envejecido — más cercano a la pintura de biombos antigua que a un acabado dorado brillante. Atrapa la luz de la lámpara con suavidad pero no se refleja como un espejo.

¿La grulla está centrada o desplazada hacia un lado?

La grulla está ligeramente hacia la izquierda del centro, con las ramas de flores de cerezo curvando desde la parte superior derecha. Se percibe equilibrada más que simétrica. Cuelga el cuadro centrado en la pared y la composición seguirá pareciendo estable: no necesitas desplazar el marco para compensar.

¿El dorado cálido chocará con paredes grises frías?

Puede pelear un poco. La impresión es guiada por tonos cálidos, así que encaja más naturalmente en blanco roto, crema tiza, putty o paredes de arcilla cálida. En una pared gris fría aún funciona, pero querrás muebles de madera cálida y una lámpara cálida cerca para equilibrar la temperatura, de lo contrario el dorado puede parecer un poco amarillento sobre el gris.
