Les pièces se font plus calmes quand l’or chaud s’affirme ainsi. Marais au dernier éclat du jour, alligator glissant sur l’eau immobile, palmiers en retrait: la scène fait peu et retient pourtant le regard.
Accrochée au-dessus d’une enfilade basse ou dans un bureau, elle installe une ambiance de soirée sans baisser la lumière.
Placez-la près de noyer foncé, de cuir patiné, de lin dans des neutres chauds et de grès. Elle s’accorde bien avec un mur vert sombre et enveloppant ou un ton terre cuite profond, et se pose tout aussi sereinement sur un blanc cassé à l’aspect crayeux. Évitez de l’associer à des affiches graphiques très contrastées ou à des motifs tropicaux chargés: cette pièce a besoin d’espace autour d’elle pour faire son effet.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
L'alligator est-il le sujet principal, ou est-ce vraiment un paysage?
Il se lit d'abord comme un paysage. L'alligator reste bas et discret au centre du cadre, entouré de palmiers, d'herbes de marais et d'un ciel doré qui se reflète sur l'eau. À une distance normale de visionnage, on ressent une scène de marais au crépuscule, l'animal faisant partie intégrante du lieu plutôt qu'un portrait animalier en gros plan.
Les tons or chauds vont-ils entrer en conflit avec une pièce grise ou bleue froide?
Ils peuvent jurer avec des schemes très froids. Le ciel et ses reflets sont résolument or chauds, donc la pièce s'accorde le mieux avec des neutres chauds, des verts profonds, des tons argile ou un blanc cassé à l'aspect craie. Si vos murs sont bleu glacier ou gris dur, attendez-vous à un contraste visible — il faudra ajouter des bois chaleureux, du cuir ou du laiton à proximité pour adoucir la transition.
Convient-il à un salon familial, ou est-il trop sombre?
Il fonctionne dans un salon familial si la pièce penche déjà vers le chaud et l'ambiance lamplight — canapés terreux, bois, éclairage doux. Dans un espace familial lumineux, pastel ou ludique, il peut paraître lourd. Il est le plus à l'aise dans des bureaux, coins cosy, couloirs et salons adultes au caractère crépusculaire.
