La pièce d’amis mérite mieux que des murs nus. Cette affiche au format généreux (environ un mètre de large) épouse la largeur d’une tête de lit double et donne immédiatement le ton : un homme assoupi dans son hamac, invitation claire au repos. Sur un mur vert sauge, l’humour reste doux; sur un blanc cassé, le pantalon moutarde apporte la chaleur. Associez-la à du linge de lit en coton, une table de chevet en pin et une lampe simple. Rien d’autre sur ce mur. Suspendez-la légèrement plus bas que d’ordinaire, pour que la bordure en zigzag affleure les oreillers. Sieste d’abord, défaire la valise ensuite. Imprimée sur papier beaux-arts, la trame du hamac reste nette derrière le verre.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le vert sauge paraîtra-t-il gris dans une chambre orientée au nord ?
Il reste vert, mais plus froid. La lumière du nord tire le sauge vers un gris-vert, et la bordure crème fait l’essentiel de la luminosité. Si la pièce est déjà froide, peignez le mur derrière en blanc cassé plutôt qu’en blanc pur, et gardez une ampoule chaude dans la lampe de chevet. Le pantalon moutarde et le zigzag terracotta conservent leur chaleur même en lumière plate, ce qui évite à l’ensemble de devenir glacé.

Quelle largeur choisir au-dessus d’un lit double ?
Visez les deux tiers de la largeur de la tête de lit. Un lit double standard au Royaume-Uni fait 135 cm, donc une affiche d’environ 90 à 100 cm de large tombe juste, et un lit king peut aller jusqu’à 120 cm. En dessous de 80 cm, la figure devient un détail et le mur au-dessus paraît inachevé. Laissez environ 20 cm entre le haut de la tête de lit et le bord inférieur.

Est-ce trop ludique pour un salon ?
Tout dépend de la pièce. Dans un salon détendu avec un canapé bas, du bois clair et un tapis en jute, l’ensemble paraît rétro plutôt que comique, et la palette sourde garde une belle douceur. Dans un salon formel avec des meubles sombres et des rideaux lourds, l’humour ressort davantage, et une pièce plus discrète serait plus adaptée. Les chambres d’amis et les petits salons cosy sont son terrain naturel.
