How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le ciel pâle paraîtra-t-il délavé sur un mur blanc ?
Sur un mur blanc vif, le ciel se fond effectivement un peu dans la peinture, et l’image peut paraître plus légère de loin. Sur un mur blanc cassé, crème ou à la chaux, elle se réchauffe et les arbres vert profond renforcent le contraste. Des murs vert profond ou marron la font ressortir. Si votre mur est blanc pur, choisissez un format plus grand et accrochez-le plus bas pour que l’eau prenne le dessus.

Dans quel sens faut-il l’orienter dans la pièce ?
Les arbres se trouvent à gauche et l’eau ouverte avec le bateau à droite, donc l’image penche vers son bord droit. Accrochez-la de façon que ce côté ouvert fasse face à la pièce ou à une fenêtre, et le regard sort du coin plutôt que d’y entrer. Sur un mur d’escalier, placez le côté ouvert vers le haut des marches.

Convient-elle à une pièce qui a déjà de la couleur ?
Oui, à condition que la couleur soit profonde plutôt que vive. Le vert bouteille, la rouille, le marine et le brun chaud s’accordent parfaitement avec le beige et l’olive présents ici. Le jaune vif, le corail ou le rose fuchsia la feront paraître ternie en comparaison. Dans une pièce très colorée, offrez-lui son propre mur uni pour qu’elle joue le rôle de respiration.
