Glissez-la près de la table de chevet. Cette bande de mur entre la tête de lit et l’angle est souvent trop étroite pour autre chose, et une image verticale l’habille sans encombrer le lit. Accrochez-la pour que le bas se place à une main au-dessus de la lampe. Le vert mousse est assez apaisant pour le dernier regard du soir, et la crème des chapeaux fait écho au linge de lit en coton blanc sans en faire trop. Gardez la table sobre : chêne clair ou bois peint, une lampe, aucun motif. Sur des murs blanc cassé, le vert paraît doux plutôt que sombre ; cela convient aussi bien à une petite chambre qu’à une grande. Deux affiches, une de chaque côté, transforment un lit simple en véritable point focal. Imprimée sur papier beaux-arts, la délicatesse des lavis reste subtile derrière le verre ; un cadre fin en chêne suffit amplement.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le vert paraîtra-t-il sombre dans une chambre orientée au nord ?
Moins que vous ne le pensez. Ici, le vert est une nuance mousse avec beaucoup de crème, donc dans une lumière nord sans soleil il paraît doux et gris-vert plutôt que lourd. Placez-le sur un mur face à la fenêtre, gardez la couleur du mur en blanc cassé ou blanc chaud, et les chapeaux clairs allègent l’ensemble. Sur un mur gris moyen, il devient plus plat, donc mieux vaut éviter cette association.

Quelle taille choisir pour une bande de mur étroite ?
Mesurez la largeur de la bande et prenez environ les deux tiers. Sur un espace de 45 cm à côté d’un lit, cela donne une affiche d’environ 30 cm de large sur 60 cm de haut, soit le format moyen. Plus petit, les chapeaux ressemblent à des points et la douceur se perd. Plus large que la bande, le mur paraît comprimé, donc la largeur compte plus que la hauteur.

Est-ce que cela fonctionne en paire de chaque côté du lit ?
Oui, et c’est probablement son meilleur usage. Suspendez-en une au-dessus de chaque table de chevet à la même hauteur, avec les bords inférieurs alignés et une largeur de main entre le cadre et l’abat-jour. Le vert se répète de part et d’autre du lit et la pièce paraît pensée plutôt que simplement décorée. Gardez le linge de lit blanc ou en lin écru pour que la paire ressorte sur le mur.
