How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le terracotta ira-t-il avec un canapé gris ?
Cela dépend du gris. Un canapé gris chaud ou greige s’y accorde volontiers, car les tons crème et pierre des crêtes partagent cette chaleur. Un canapé gris bleuté tire dans l’autre sens et la rouille paraît alors plus orange. Si votre canapé est gris froid, ajoutez un coussin rouille ou moutarde pour faire se rejoindre les couleurs à mi-chemin.

Quelle largeur choisir au-dessus d’un lit king-size ?
Un lit king-size mesure environ 150 cm de large, donc visez une œuvre couvrant les deux tiers à trois quarts de cette largeur, soit environ 100 à 120 cm. Plus étroit, l’ensemble paraît isolé au-dessus de la tête de lit. Suspendez-la avec le bord inférieur à une largeur de main au-dessus de la tête de lit, et gardez les lampes de chevet basses pour qu’elles restent sous les crêtes.

Est-ce que cela paraît chargé dans un petit salon ?
Moins qu’on ne l’imagine. Les bandes de couleur vont dans une seule direction, donc l’œil suit leur ligne sur le côté plutôt que de sauter partout, ce qui crée une impression de calme même dans un petit espace. L’essentiel est de lui réserver un mur. Laissez le mur dégagé autour, et choisissez des textiles unis plutôt que des motifs en dessous.
