How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le vert sauge fonctionnera-t-il avec des murs crème chauds plutôt qu'un mur peint en sauge ?

Oui. Le vert sauge de l'affiche est doux et poudré plutôt que vif, donc il s'accorde bien avec des murs crème, blanc cassé et couleur putty. Au contraire, un mur neutre chaud fait paraître les cygnes plus œuvre d'art que simple échantillon de papier peint. Évitez de le suspendre directement à côté d'un mur gris froid, qui peut aplatir le vert.

Le motif en répétition fonctionne-t-il seul en carré, ou doit-il être accroché en paire ?

Il fonctionne très bien seul. La répétition est assez dense pour qu'un carré se lise comme une petite scène complète plutôt qu'un échantillon recadré. Une paire peut convenir dans un long couloir ou au-dessus de lits jumeaux, mais la plupart des pièces n'ont besoin que d'une seule — accrochez-la un peu plus bas que d'habitude pour que les cygnes soient plus proches du niveau des yeux.

Convient-il à une chambre d'enfant ou à une nursery ?

Peut l'être, mais ce n'est pas conçu comme une affiche de nursery. La palette est sauge et crème adulte plutôt que pastels bébé, et les cygnes sont peints dans un style folk plutôt que cartoon. Cela en fait un bon choix à long terme pour une chambre d'enfant dans laquelle il pourra grandir, surtout dans une maison de style cottage ou campagne anglaise.
