Dans les années 1960, cela aurait semblé radical. C’est encore le cas. Deux petits nageurs, portés par un remous d’eau verte, peints d’une touche assez libre pour sembler vrais, et d’une retenue qui se prête au quotidien. Le mur qu’elle occupe cesse de paraître chargé. Les verts sont tendres, le ton crème paraît patiné par le soleil, et l’ensemble respire. La pièce devient plus fraîche, plus calme, un peu plus rassemblée. Elle trouve naturellement sa place au-dessus d’un lit, d’un long canapé ou sur un mur de salle de bain paisible. Son format carré facilite le centrage. Idéale à hauteur des yeux, sur un mur peint et apaisé. À associer au chêne clair, au lin lavé, au rotin et au grès aux tonalités crayeuses. Un cadre en chêne fonctionne le mieux; le noir l’affirme si la pièce est plus moderne. Ne la surchargez pas. Une seule pièce sur le mur, pas trois. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft green look too washed out on a white wall?

On a bright white wall it can feel a touch quiet, which is often the point. If you want more presence, hang it on a chalky off-white, soft sage or sand-toned wall — the greens read warmer and the cream centre stops looking like the wall behind it.

Is this better above a bed or in a bathroom?

Both work, for different reasons. Above a bed, the square format centres easily and the calm palette helps the room settle. In a bathroom, the water subject suits the room without being too on-the-nose — keep it on a dry wall away from direct splashes.

Does the painterly brushwork still read at smaller sizes?

Yes — the brushstrokes are loose but the two figures stay clear at medium sizes. At small sizes the swirl pattern still reads, though the figures become more of a quiet detail. For the full effect of the water, go medium or above.
