Offrez‑lui la console de l’entrée. Une table étroite libère un pan de mur haut que peu d’objets valorisent, et une affiche deux fois plus haute que large l’habille sans effort. Accrochez le bas de l’affiche à une main au‑dessus du plateau pour que les toits terracotta arrivent à hauteur des yeux et que le bleu profond s’élance vers le plafond. Gardez la table sobre, en bois clair ou peinte blanc cassé, avec un seul vide‑poches pour les clés, rien d’empilé. Les murs blancs fonctionnent. Un gris doux aussi. L’affiche apporte la couleur, la table apporte le calme, et un couloir sombre trouve soudain un point de fuite. Évitez un miroir à côté : deux éléments très verticaux sur le même mur se concurrencent. Dans un cadre blanc, le ciel reste la touche la plus lumineuse de l’entrée.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Le ciel bleu profond paraîtra-t-il trop fort dans un petit couloir ?

Dans un couloir clair, il fait l'effet inverse. Le bleu se trouve dans la moitié supérieure de l'image, il se lit donc comme un ciel au-dessus du niveau des yeux plutôt que comme un bloc de couleur à hauteur du regard. Les maisons crème et les toits terracotta se placent là où l'on regarde réellement. Gardez les murs blanc cassé ou gris doux et le bleu reste lumineux sans envahir l'espace.

Quelle hauteur faut-il choisir pour un mur d'escalier ?

Voyez plus grand que ce qui semble prudent. Dans un escalier, on la voit depuis le hall en bas et depuis le palier en haut, donc un petit format devient une carte postale aux deux extrémités. Un grand format permet aux flèches d'être lisibles depuis la première marche et aux marguerites depuis le haut. Accrochez-la de façon que le centre soit à peu près à hauteur des yeux depuis le demi-palier.

Reconnaît-on Budapest, ou simplement une ville européenne ?

C'est une illustration plutôt qu'une photographie, donc elle évoque Castle Hill dans l'esprit, avec les flèches gothiques et la montée des maisons blanches et des toits orangés, et non un relevé rue par rue. Les personnes qui connaissent la ville la reconnaîtront. Les autres verront une ville de colline ensoleillée, ce qui explique pourquoi elle fonctionne dans un couloir sans avoir besoin d'explication.
