How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le fond crème risque-t-il de paraître sale à côté d’un mur de salle de bain blanc éclatant ?
Il peut tirer un peu vers le jaune contre un carrelage blanc éclatant, alors peignez plutôt le mur d’un blanc cassé chaud ou d’un crème doux. Ainsi, le fond se fait discret et le bleu marine prend toute la place. Si le carrelage reste blanc, gardez les serviettes et le tapis de bain dans une teinte sable, ce qui relie le crème au reste sans créer de contraste gênant.

Quelle taille choisir au-dessus d’une baignoire ?
Une baignoire standard mesure environ 170 cm de long, donc visez 60 à 70 cm de côté, centrée avec le bord inférieur à environ 25 cm au-dessus du rebord. Plus petit, les ventouses et la texture de l’encre se transforment en tache bleue depuis la porte. Plus grand, les bras commencent à encombrer le plafond dans une salle de bain britannique typique.

Est-ce trop sombre pour une chambre d’enfant ?
Le bleu marine est profond, mais il y a plus de crème que de bleu, donc l’ensemble reste lumineux. Dans une chambre d’enfant, il fonctionne bien sur un mur clair au-dessus d’une petite bibliothèque, avec du linge de lit crème uni ou bleu ciel. Évitez de l’associer à d’autres affiches bleu marine, sinon le mur devient lourd. Une pieuvre, un mur, c’est la règle.
