How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le rose ne sera-t-il pas trop sucré dans un salon d’adulte ?

Pas avec le bon mur derrière. Les fleurs bordeaux et le fond vert foncé tirent les roses vers un ton poudré plutôt que sucré, donc sur un mur vert, prune ou gris chaud, l’ensemble paraît comme une vraie peinture. Sur un mur blanc, le satin pâle prend le dessus et le rendu devient plus doux. Ajoutez un coussin bordeaux ou vert foncé à proximité et l’équilibre tient bon.

Quelle taille choisir au-dessus d’une commode ou d’un lit ?

Visez environ les deux tiers de la largeur du meuble en dessous. Au-dessus d’une commode de 120cm, cela signifie environ 80cm de côté, ce qui rapproche aussi les têtes de pivoine de leur taille réelle. Au-dessus d’un lit double, montez à 100cm ou suspendez une seule grande pièce légèrement décentrée. En dessous de 60cm, les fleurs perdent leur présence et l’étiquette du bocal devient illisible de loin.

Est-ce adapté à une cuisine ou une salle à manger, ou bien plutôt à une chambre ?

Il trouve sa place dans les deux. Le bocal à cornichons est l’indice. Dans une salle à manger avec un buffet peint et un peu de verre sur la table, il évoque la fin d’une virée au marché. Dans une cuisine, gardez-le bien loin des plaques et dans une lumière latérale douce. La version chambre joue sur la lumière des lampes le soir, la version salle à manger sur la fin de matinée.
