    Pas parce qu’elle est grise, mais parce qu’elle refuse de passer au second plan. Une seule empreinte de pas dans la poussière lunaire accomplit ce que peu de photos parviennent à faire : elle donne à une pièce calme l’impression d’abriter une histoire. Accrochez-la dans un bureau, un couloir ou au-dessus d’un buffet bas dans le salon. À hauteur des yeux, elle attire sans jamais hausser le ton. À marier avec du bois sombre, de l’acier noir, du lin et des murs en plâtre. Évitez les couleurs criardes autour d’elle : des motifs floraux éclatants ou des tons très saturés contrarient le gris apaisé et encombrent visuellement l’image.     How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    La photographie est-elle recadrée en carré, ou perd-elle des détails ?

    L'image est présentée en recadrage carré centré sur l'empreinte, avec le motif de la semelle striée et la poussière lunaire environnante clairement visibles. De petits cailloux et débris d'empreinte autour des bords restent apparents, de sorte que le sens de l'échelle et la texture de la surface sont préservés plutôt qu'un resserrement uniquement sur la bottine.

    Aura-t-elle un air trop sombre dans un salon ?

    Elle est en gris doux et presque noir plutôt que foncée ou lourde, donc elle se lit comme discrète et ancrée plutôt que morose. Dans un salon bien éclairé avec des canapés en lin et des murs clairs, elle joue le rôle d'un point focal réfléchi plutôt que d'assombrir l'ambiance.

    Est-ce qu'elle fonctionne avec de la couleur sur les murs, ou seulement des neutres ?

    Elle s'accorde le plus proprement avec des murs blanc cassé, gris doux, plâtre ou pierre chaude. Des couleurs plus profondes comme le bleu encre ou le charbon fonctionnent aussi et enrichissent les gris. Les murs très vifs ou saturés — rose chaud, vert lime, moutarde — sont en conflit avec la photographie et sont à éviter.
