    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Les couleurs vont-elles jurer avec un mur vert ?
    Un mur vert profond est le meilleur fond possible. Les verts sauge et forêt de l’œuvre se fondent dans le mur, et l’or, le violet et le bleu ardoise ressortent, si bien que l’image apparaît comme une ouverture lumineuse plutôt qu’un rectangle chargé. Des murs vert sauge pâle conviennent aussi. Le seul vert à éviter est un ton citron vert ou acide, qui s’oppose au centre doré.

    Quelle hauteur choisir pour un mur d’escalier ?
    Voyez plus haut que votre instinct ne le dit. Sur un mur d’escalier, le regard suit les marches vers le haut, et une pièce de moins de 80 cm de haut donne l’impression d’être posée là par hasard à mi-chemin. Environ 100 cm convient à la plupart des couloirs victoriens et édouardiens, accrochée de façon à ce que le centre se situe à hauteur des yeux depuis le sol du couloir. Laissez une largeur de main de mur dégagée de chaque côté.

    Cela fonctionne-t-il dans une pièce très chargée en motifs ?
    Seulement si le motif est petit et discret, comme une fine rayure ou un tissage uni avec texture. La pièce porte elle-même des centaines de petites formes, donc un grand motif floral ou un tapis géométrique audacieux à proximité se feront concurrence et y perdront tous les deux. Un velours uni, un lin uni et un mur de couleur pleine lui donnent l’espace dont elle a besoin.
