    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Le bleu marine sombre va-t-il donner l’impression que mon salon est plus petit ?
    Pas si vous l’accrochez là où la partie sombre se trouve en bas. Presque la moitié de l’image est un ciel bleu-gris pâle, donc l’œil lit la lumière en haut et le poids en bas, ce qui est de toute façon l’effet recherché dans une pièce. Gardez le mur derrière en gris pâle ou bleu-gris moyen, et le bleu marine devient un point d’ancrage plutôt qu’une ombre. Évitez un mur sombre dans une petite pièce.

    Quelle largeur choisir au-dessus d’un canapé trois places standard ?
    Un canapé trois places mesure généralement entre 200 et 220 cm de long, et l’image devrait couvrir environ deux tiers de cette largeur, donc visez 130 à 150 cm de large. À cette taille, les vagues individuelles se lisent depuis la porte et l’ensemble forme un bloc horizontal au-dessus des coussins. En dessous de 100 cm, cela commence à ressembler à une carte postale sur un grand mur.

    Est-ce trop agité pour une chambre ?
    Cela dépend de l’effet recherché dans la pièce. Au-dessus d’une tête de lit, la forme basse et large est apaisante même si l’eau elle-même est mouvementée, car l’horizon reste bien droit et le ciel pâle se trouve en haut. Associez-la à du linge de lit blanc ou gris uni et à une seule couleur sombre sur le mur, et elle évoque le temps qu’il fait dehors. Un linge de lit floral ou à motifs donnerait une impression trop chargée.
