Depuis l’entrée, c’est l’or qui accroche d’abord le regard. Un long mur de couloir, d’ordinaire perçu comme un simple passage, devient soudain un panneau chaleureux au fond de la perspective, et l’œil file droit vers lui. Puis vient l’orange. Sur une eau gris-bleu, c’est la seule note brûlante de la pièce : gardez autour des murs blanc crayeux ou pierre douce et laissez-la être la seule à s’exprimer. Un sol en ardoise ou en calcaire s’accorde parfaitement aux tonalités aquatiques. Accrochez-la sur le mur du palier visible depuis la porte d’entrée, un peu plus bas que votre premier réflexe, pour que le poisson du haut arrive à hauteur de regard en montant l’escalier. L’or se réchauffe à la lueur du soir, se rafraîchit à la lumière du jour. Les deux effets sont superbes. Imprimée sur papier beaux-arts premium. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

L’orange sera-t-il trop fort dans un petit couloir ?

Dans un espace étroit, l’orange joue un rôle utile en donnant au couloir un point chaud vers lequel se diriger. Il devient trop présent seulement si autre chose entre en compétition dans le couloir, comme un tapis rouge ou une porte terracotta. Gardez des murs blanc cassé ou pierre et des sols sombres ou neutres, et l’orange reste un accent plutôt qu’une masse de couleur.

À quelle hauteur dois-je accrocher une pièce haute comme celle-ci dans un escalier ?

Sur un palier, accrochez-la de façon à ce que le centre se situe un peu sous le niveau des yeux debout. La hauteur de la pièce attire déjà le regard vers le haut, donc commencer bas évite qu’elle semble flotter près du plafond. Sur un mur d’escalier en pente, alignez le bord inférieur parallèlement à la rampe, à peu près à une largeur de main au-dessus.

L’or paraît-il jaune au mur, ou fait-il vraiment métal ?

Il se lit comme chaud plutôt que jaune. À côté d’un gris bleu froid, le fond doré se rapproche davantage d’un vieux laiton, donc il s’accorde avec des blancs chauds, la pierre et le bois foncé sans faire virer la pièce au moutarde. Sous une lampe le soir, il réchauffe nettement, ce qui explique pourquoi les chambres et les couloirs éclairés le soir lui conviennent bien. En pleine lumière du jour, il se rafraîchit vers un sable doux.
