How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le fond doré va-t-il paraître jaune sur mon mur ?

Cela dépend de la lumière et de la peinture autour. Sous une ampoule chaude et sur du greige, du vert poudré ou du blanc cassé, il paraît doré et apporte de la chaleur au mur. Sur une peinture blanche éclatante sous des ampoules à lumière froide, il peut tirer vers le moutarde. Si votre couloir est très blanc, remplacez d’abord l’ampoule par une ampoule chaude avant de changer autre chose.

Quelle taille choisir pour un mur d’escalier ?

Visez au moins environ un mètre de haut. Le format est deux fois plus haut que large, donc 50 cm de large donnent 100 cm de hauteur, ce qui habille le pan de mur à côté d’un escalier sans toucher la plinthe ni le plafond. Plus petit, et les marguerites et les bleuets deviennent de la texture plutôt que des fleurs, et la pièce perd de son impact depuis la porte d’entrée.

Est-ce adapté à une chambre avec des murs roses ?

Oui, à condition que le rose du mur soit plus sourd que celui des fleurs. Un rose plâtre ou un rose doux permet aux feuilles vert foncé de créer le contraste et garde la pièce douce. Un rose sucré ou vif concurrence les fleurs et tout le mur devient trop charmant. Gardez le linge de lit uni en avoine ou en crème et faites écho au bleu des bleuets avec une seule touche, comme un coussin.
