How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le vert vif va-t-il jurer avec un mur sauge ou olive ?
Oui, il va leur faire concurrence. Le vert herbe à côté du sauge fait paraître le sauge gris, et le sauge rend le vert plus fort. Placez-la sur un mur blanc, blanc cassé ou gris chaud très pâle, et le vert sera fidèle à lui-même. Si vos murs sont déjà verts, une pièce aux accents jaunes doux ou bleus sera un meilleur choix.

Un format haut et étroit est-il trop mince pour un mur de chambre ?
Pas si vous utilisez l’espace entre deux fenêtres ou le mur à côté d’une armoire. Ces bandes font souvent 60 à 90cm de large, et une grande pièce les habille sans alourdir l’ensemble. Au-dessus d’un large lit, elle paraîtrait fine, donc gardez-la pour les zones étroites et laissez le mur du lit dégagé.

Comment tient-elle dans un couloir avec peu de lumière du jour ?
Mieux que la plupart des couleurs. Le vert est assez vif pour rester vert sous une ampoule chaude au plafond, et les formes bleues et noires préservent le contraste quand la lumière baisse. Une seule applique ou un spot dirigé vers le mur suffit. Évitez une ampoule blanc froid, qui rend le vert légèrement acide.
