How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Ce bleu si intense fonctionne-t-il dans une pièce aux murs gris ?

Oui, tant que le gris est doux plutôt qu’acier. Les blancs chauds et les fleurs roses empêchent le bleu de paraître froid, et un mur gris pâle lui permet de ressortir sans crier. Si votre gris tire lui aussi vers le bleu, encadrez la pièce en blanc pour lui donner un contour net.

Une forme carrée est-elle gênante au-dessus d’un canapé ?

Pas si vous voyez grand. Un format carré fonctionne bien centré au-dessus d’un canapé deux ou trois places lorsqu’il couvre environ la moitié à deux tiers de la largeur du canapé. Plus petit, il risque de se perdre, alors mieux vaut voir plus grand que plus petit, et garder le bord inférieur à environ 25 cm au-dessus des coussins.

Il y a beaucoup de détails ici — est-ce que cela fera trop chargé dans une petite pièce ?

C’est une image animée, alors laissez-lui de l’espace. Dans une petite cuisine ou un couloir, accrochez-la sur un mur pâle autrement vide et gardez les étagères proches simples. Vue à environ un mètre et demi, le village et la mer se lisent en blocs de couleur nets plutôt qu’en détails chargés.
