How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

La palette rouille et teal fonctionne-t-elle sur un mur de couleur profonde ?

Oui — et elle paraît généralement mieux sur un mur profond que sur un blanc éclatant. Le teal profond, l'olive, la terre cuite et le blanc cassé minéral font de bons fonds. Le blanc très lumineux peut rendre la rouille plus criarde ; un mur plus doux ou plus profond laisse les tons chauds s'apaiser et fait ressortir proprement le chat noir.

Le chat noir est-il le point focal principal, ou les fleurs prennent-elles le dessus ?

Le chat est bas et à droite et se lit comme l'ancre — calme, noir plat, avec deux yeux jaunes nets. Les fleurs font le bruit au-dessus et autour. De l'autre côté de la pièce, l'œil s'arrête d'abord sur le chat, puis se promène dans le jardin. On n'a pas l'impression d'une fleur avec un chat dedans ; on a une peinture de chat avec un jardin sauvage derrière.

Est-ce que ça marche dans une petite pièce, ou seulement en grands espaces ouverts ?

Ça marche aussi dans des petites pièces, tant que c'est la pièce maîtresse du mur. Un snug, un coin lecture ou un couloir étroit supportent bien un format moyen ou grand. Ce qu'elle n'aime pas, c'est la concurrence — une autre œuvre chargée à côté basculerait la pièce vers l'encombrement.
