En milieu de matinée, le colibri à l’aquarelle cesse d’être simplement décoratif et commence à faire son effet. Le fond blanc cassé, lumineux, renvoie la lumière dans la pièce : un mur plat, au‑dessus d’un buffet ou d’un bureau, gagne instantanément un point focal sans alourdir l’espace. Accrochez-la à hauteur des yeux, dans la cuisine, la chambre ou le bureau, là où vous passez chaque jour, pour surprendre le petit éclat orangé de la fleur. Elle se marie volontiers avec les bois clairs, le rotin, le lin et le grès vert, et tient très bien sa place sur des murs vert tendre ou crème. Évitez de la confronter à des motifs trop chargés ou à des pièces sombres et denses sur le même mur. Le vide du fond fait déjà la moitié du travail : laissez-lui de l’air. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le fond blanc cassé va-t-il se fondre dans mon mur blanc ?
Cela peut arriver si le mur est d’un blanc très éclatant et que la pièce est accrochée en petit. Choisissez un format plus grand, gardez de l’espace libre de chaque côté et optez pour un bord de cadre qui crée un contour doux. Sur des murs crème, vert doux ou gris pâle, la séparation se fait facilement et la fleur orange fait le reste.

L’orange est-il assez présent pour servir de couleur d’accent dans une pièce ?
Oui, mais en douceur. L’orange se concentre dans une zone de la fleur plutôt que sur toute l’image, donc il suggère un accent sans le crier. Si vous avez déjà des pots en terre cuite, des coussins rouille ou du bois chaud dans la pièce, il s’y intègre joliment sans prendre le dessus.

Le format carré fonctionne-t-il au-dessus d’une commode ou d’un buffet ?
Oui, à condition que le meuble ne soit pas très large. Visez une œuvre d’environ deux tiers de la largeur du meuble en dessous et accrochez-la à environ 25 à 30 cm au-dessus du dessus. Sur un long buffet, ajoutez une pièce compagne ou une lampe et un vase pour équilibrer la largeur.
