    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Les tons sombres vont-ils assombrir une petite chambre ?
    En pratique, non. Environ un tiers de la surface est composé de brume pâle, et cette bande claire se situe à hauteur des yeux lorsqu’elle est accrochée au-dessus d’une tête de lit. Le bas ardoise foncé se lit comme de la profondeur plutôt que du poids, donc le mur paraît reculer. Gardez le mur environnant en blanc cassé ou gris doux et la pièce semblera plus grande, pas plus sombre.

    Quelle largeur choisir au-dessus d’un lit king size ?
    Visez environ deux tiers de la largeur du lit, soit 120 à 150 cm pour un king size britannique. En dessous de 100 cm, les couches de brume s’aplatissent et l’image ne porte plus le mur. Accrochez-la avec le bord inférieur à peu près à une largeur de main au-dessus de la tête de lit, centrée sur le lit plutôt que sur le mur si les deux diffèrent.

    Le bleu gris fonctionne-t-il avec des murs blanc chaud ?
    Oui, tant que le blanc reste doux plutôt que jaune. Un blanc cassé crayeux offre au bleu ardoise une base calme, et la brume se fond dans le mur sur les bords. Évitez le magnolia ou le crème, qui se heurtent à la tonalité froide et font paraître l’image plus froide qu’elle ne l’est. Le gris pâle fonctionne tout aussi bien.
