How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Le fond doré paraîtra-t-il trop chaud dans une pièce froide et grise ?
Il peut entrer en conflit avec une palette gris froid. Le doré se lit comme un point focal chaud, il fonctionne donc mieux s'il existe au moins une autre note chaude dans la pièce — laiton, chêne, lin crème, moutarde ou terre cuite. Dans une palette strictement bleu‑gris froide il aura l'air d'un élément extérieur plutôt que d'un ancrage.
Est-ce trop chargé pour être accroché au-dessus d'un canapé à motifs ?
Probablement, oui. Les chats sont déjà couverts de petites fleurs folk, donc un canapé fortement à motifs entrera en compétition. Il est bien mieux au‑dessus d'un canapé en velours ou en lin uni, d'un buffet sobre, ou d'un lit avec une literie simple, où le motif de l'affiche peut être le seul sur ce mur.
Convient‑il comme pièce pour un couple sans paraître kitsch ?
