    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    L'or de l'affiche est-il réellement brillant ou métallique ?

    Non. L'aspect doré est imprimé en jaunes chauds, ocres et bruns profonds plutôt qu'en encre métallique ou feuille réelle. Il se lit comme riche et lumineux sur le mur, mais il s'agit d'une finition imprimée plane. À la lumière chaude d'une lampe il gagne en profondeur, ce qui explique en partie pourquoi l'œuvre fonctionne si bien en soirées.

    Cela paraîtra-t-il trop chargé sur un mur à motifs ?

    Oui, très probablement. Le détail mosaïque de la robe et de l'arrière‑plan fait déjà beaucoup de travail. Il se place mieux sur un mur peint uni — blanc cassé, pierre chaude, vert profond ou bleu encre conviennent tous. Les papiers peints à motifs ont tendance à entrer en concurrence avec l'or et à aplatir la composition.

    Faut-il un cadre doré ou puis-je choisir plus sombre ?

    Les deux conviennent. Un cadre doré prolonge l'effet de dorure et penche vers le traditionnel ou l'art déco. Un cadre noir aiguise l'œuvre et la rend plus contemporaine, façon galerie. Évitez le chêne clair — il atténue la chaleur et fait paraître l'or plus jaune que riche.
