    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Le rouge et le bleu risquent-ils de jurer avec un mur coloré ?

    Les couleurs profondes aident plus qu’elles ne gênent. Sur un mur vert profond ou bleu marine, le fond crème ressort comme une zone de lumière et le rouge avance, ce qui rend l’ensemble très assumé. Les murs de ton moyen sont plus délicats. Un mur sauge ou rose poudré est trop proche des lavis et l’ensemble peut vite devenir terne. Choisissez un mur sombre ou blanc cassé et l’œuvre restera bien en place.

    Quelle taille choisir pour un palier d’escalier ?

    Plus grand que ce que l’on imagine instinctivement. Sur un palier, on le voit aussi bien depuis l’étage du dessous qu’en s’en approchant, il doit donc être lisible à trois ou quatre mètres. Visez au moins 80 cm de haut, et voyez plus grand si le mur suit toute la hauteur de la cage d’escalier. Placez le centre légèrement au-dessus du niveau des yeux depuis le palier pour qu’il fonctionne dans les deux sens.

    Est-ce trop chargé pour un petit couloir ?

    Seulement s’il a de la concurrence. La pièce est très animée, elle aime donc un mur peint uni et rien d’autre à proximité. Dans un couloir étroit, cela fonctionne très bien, car un seul grand élément sur un mur vide paraît volontaire, là où trois petits créent du désordre. Gardez patères et miroirs de l’autre côté.
