    Riguardo a quest'opera
    Novembre le dona. La luce si fa bassa e diffusa, il giardino vira al bruno e quella grande parete sopra il divano sembra più fredda che a giugno. Appendila lì: la stanza prende lo stesso clima, ma in una versione più gentile. Il crema pergamena illumina la parete. Il marrone profondo ancora il divano. Nulla contrasta la stagione, così l’ambiente smette di “litigare” con la finestra. Plaid di lana e un divano in lino color avena o pietra si abbinano alla perfezione. Pareti in rosa intonaco fanno risplendere i toni bruni. Mantieni luci calde ed evita bianchi freddi nelle vicinanze. La larghezza è l’unica regola: a 120 cm il fiume percorre l’intera lunghezza di un tre posti e la parete si legge come un’unica fascia calma. Più piccolo, diventa un semplice paesaggio collinare. La tela, tesa e senza vetro, mantiene una superficie morbida sotto la luce delle lampade.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Il marrone sembrerà spento su una parete bianca?

    Su una parete bianco puro, le colline più scure possono risultare un po’ pesanti, quindi il trucco è scaldare la parete o la luce. Pareti bianco sporco, pietra o rosa intonaco fanno sì che il crema nel cielo e nel fiume si armonizzi con la parete e il marrone resti in primo piano come elemento principale. Anche le lampadine calde fanno lo stesso lavoro se preferisci non ridipingere.

    Quanto larga dovrebbe essere sopra un divano standard a tre posti?

    Punta a circa i due terzi della larghezza del divano, quindi per la maggior parte dei tre posti significa tra 120 cm e 140 cm. A quella misura la linea del fiume attraversa quasi tutta l’ampiezza e la parete appare come un’unica fascia calma. Sotto i 100 cm il pezzo inizia a sembrare un quadro piccolo sospeso sopra un divano grande, e la nebbia perde effetto.

    Funziona in camera da letto o è troppo d’atmosfera?

    Funziona bene in camera da letto, soprattutto perché non ha colore e quindi non tiene l’occhio troppo sveglio. Il cielo e l’acqua chiari occupano la metà superiore, quindi sopra la testiera la parte più luminosa resta all’altezza dello sguardo quando sei in piedi e le colline più scure scendono dietro i cuscini. Abbinato a lino bianco sporco o avena, risulta riposante piuttosto che cupo.
