How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will this feel too cold in a room with mostly warm wood and cream?

No — warm wood and cream actually balance it well. The deep blue reads as a calm, grounding note rather than an icy one, especially with pale oak, walnut, linen and off-white walls. If your room leans very cool already (grey floors, chrome, stark white), add a warm timber or a natural rug to keep the mix comfortable.

How large should I go above a standard double or king bed?

For a standard double, a medium size sits well and leaves a little breathing room on either side of the headboard. Above a king, size up to keep the piece looking intentional rather than lost. As a rule of thumb, aim for the artwork to span roughly two-thirds of the headboard width.

Can I hang this next to other prints without it dominating the wall?

Yes, if the companions are quiet. Pair it with off-white, cream or soft grey abstracts, minimal line drawings or black-and-white photography, and keep the cluster small — two or three pieces. Avoid busy florals, warm terracotta prints or bold typography next to it; the blue is already doing the talking.
