How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the warm cream background clash with cool white walls?
It can sit a little warm against very cool brilliant-white walls. On chalky off-white, warm cream or soft plaster-toned walls it blends naturally. If your walls are crisp cool white, a slim black frame helps bridge the temperature difference and makes the print feel intentional rather than mismatched.
Is the illustration too busy for a small wall?
It's a busy composition but the warm cream background gives it a lot of breathing room, so it reads as one friendly grid rather than twelve fighting images. On a small wall stick to the medium size, hang it solo, and keep the surrounding surface plain — no competing pattern or pictures right next to it.
Does it work in a room without any mid-century furniture?
Yes. The chairs are a nod rather than a theme, so you don't need mid-century pieces to make it land. It sits happily above a plain oak console, a painted sideboard or a simple linen reading chair. Warm cream walls, woven baskets and stoneware ceramics are enough to ground it.
