How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep green background make a small room feel darker?
Not noticeably. The cream and warm brown areas in the foliage lift the composition, and the bird itself sits in a paler patch of the design. In a small bedroom or study, it actually adds depth — like a window onto a quieter, leafier room — rather than absorbing the light.
Does the hummingbird sit centred, or is the eye pulled to one side?
The bird's body is roughly central but its beak points up and to the right, so the eye travels diagonally across the print. That makes it a strong solo piece on a wide wall, and means you'll want a little more breathing room to the right side when you hang it.
Is the pattern detailed enough to work close up, or is it better viewed from across the room?
Both. Close up you'll see individual feathers, petal veins and curling tendrils. From across the room it reads as a balanced botanical with a clear bird-shaped focal point. That dual quality is why it suits bedrooms and studies — places you both pass through and sit in.
