How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep green background look too heavy in a small hallway?
Not usually. The cream blooms break up the dark background, so the print reads as pattern rather than a solid block of colour. In a narrow hallway it adds depth instead of closing the space in, especially against an off-white or pale wall. If your hallway is already very dark, hang it where a lamp or natural light can reach it.
Does the 'The Botanical House — Heritage Prints Co.' typography come as part of the print?
Yes. The top caption 'Arts & Botany Design' and the lower 'The Botanical House — Heritage Prints Co.' are part of the artwork, designed in the style of a vintage museum exhibition poster. The typography is intentional and not removable.
Is this better hung on its own or as part of a gallery wall?
On its own. The pattern is dense and the museum-poster framing already gives the piece a clear edge, so it works best as a solo anchor above a console, sideboard or fireplace. If you want to pair it with another piece, choose something quiet — a small antique botanical study or a plain typographic print rather than another bold pattern.
