How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the dog show its face or any identifying markings?
No — the spaniel is painted from behind, sitting upright. You see the ears, the brown and white coat, the feathered tail and a small shadow underneath. There are no eyes, no collar and no name, so it works as a general springer spaniel portrait rather than a specific dog.
Will the warm browns clash with a cool grey bedroom?
Honestly, yes — the print leans warm brown, chocolate and cream, and a cool grey or icy blue palette will fight it. It looks best in rooms that already lean warm: linen, oak, off-white walls, brass fittings. If your bedroom is cool-toned, consider a different palette of dog art.
Is the background plain enough to suit a busy wall?
Yes. The dog sits on an off-white ground with only a small grey wash beneath it as a soft shadow. There's no scenery, no border and no pattern, so it slots into a busy hallway or a patterned wallpaper without competing — the dog reads cleanly against most backdrops.
