How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the Tour de France text part of the artwork?
Yes, the words Tour de France sit along the bottom of the poster in a deep green serif, on the same cream border as the rest of the image. It reads clearly from across a hallway or study and gives the piece its travel-poster character, so plan to hang it where the type can be seen, not tucked behind furniture.
Will the warm greens and mustard clash with a cool grey room?
It can. The poster leans warm — deep green hills, mustard fields and cream sky — so it sings against cream, off-white, soft beige or warm clay walls. In a cool blue-grey room it will feel like a visitor rather than part of the scheme. If your walls are cool, try it in a study or hallway with warmer wood and leather nearby.
How big should I go for a study or home gym wall?
Large works best. The portrait format, tall cypress trees and winding road all reward scale, and the small figures of the cyclists need room to read. Aim for a size that fills roughly two-thirds of the wall above a console, desk or bench, hung at eye level so the horizon sits just above your sightline.
