How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this look too busy in a small bedroom?
It is a busy composition, but the colours are warm and grounded rather than loud, so it tends to feel cocooning in a small room rather than overwhelming. Hang it on its own as a focal point above the bed, keep the surrounding walls quiet, and use soft lamplight rather than overhead lighting.
Does the deep red background clash with pink or terracotta walls?
It works well with warm plaster pink, terracotta and deep red walls because the print already contains those tones. It is cooler walls — pale grey, cool white, icy blue — that tend to fight it. If your walls are cool, a warm oak or black frame helps bridge the temperature.
Is the woman's expression sad or just calm?
She reads as composed and self-contained rather than sad — eyes forward, posture settled, a slight softness around the mouth. The cats around her tip the mood towards quietly watchful rather than melancholy, so the overall feeling is closer to thoughtful and grounded than gloomy.
