How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
How loud is this in real life — will it dominate a room?
Yes, by design. The pink, blue and black checkerboard and the hot yellow and orange blooms carry the wall on their own. It works best as the loudest thing in a room — pair it with solid upholstery, calmer textures and one or two colours pulled out into cushions or ceramics, rather than competing patterns.
Does the checkerboard background work in a kitchen?
Very well. The graphic ground reads from across a kitchen and lifts plain painted cabinetry. It sits comfortably above a breakfast table, a small console or a sideboard. Avoid hanging it against busy tiled splashbacks or strong wallpaper — the painting needs a calmer wall behind it to do its job.
What size should I go for?
Lean larger. The loose brushwork and busy checkerboard need scale to read properly — small sizes can feel cramped and lose the contrast. A large print works above a sofa, sideboard or breakfast table. Allow some plain wall around it so the painting has room to breathe rather than crowding nearby furniture.
