How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the blue really this bright in person?
Yes — the blue is intentionally vivid and is the centrepiece of the piece. On premium fine-art paper it reads as a clean, sunny sky blue rather than a harsh electric tone. If your walls already lean toward strong blue, hang it on a calmer cream or off-white wall so the colour has room to sing.
Will this work in a small space like a hallway?
It suits hallways well at medium size. The portrait shape fits narrow walls, and the strong colour gives a small space a clear focal point. Hang at eye level on a plain wall, ideally above a console or low bench, and keep nearby decor calm so the print can lead.
Does the cat have to match my actual pet?
No — the cat reads as a friendly black and white tuxedo, but the piece is really about the mood of a sunny room with a watchful animal in it. Cat owners with tabbies, gingers or no pets at all tend to enjoy it just as much.
