How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the cream more warm or cool?
It leans warm — closer to oat and soft taupe than cool grey or stark white. It sits comfortably next to oak, pale ash and linen, and won't fight warm wall paint. If your room is built around cool greys and crisp whites, the warmth here will be noticeable rather than blending in.
Will it work in a narrow hallway?
Yes — the portrait shape is built for narrow walls. It reads as one tall tower of shape, so it holds a hallway end-wall or the strip between two doors without feeling crowded. Hang it at eye-level rather than centring it floor-to-ceiling, and keep the wall around it clear.
Does the black feel heavy in a small room?
The black shapes are anchored, not dominant — most of the picture is off-white and taupe, with charcoal and black used as accents. In a small room it gives the wall definition rather than weighing it down, especially against pale walls and lighter furniture.
