How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does this read as a soft coastal piece or a bright tropical scene?
It reads as soft coastal. The blues are washed, the sand is pale and the overall feel is calm and modern rather than bright and tropical. If you want strong colour, dense foliage or a vivid surf palette, this won't deliver that — it's closer in mood to a quiet Venice Beach morning than a postcard from the tropics.
Will it work on a pale blue or off-white wall, or will it disappear?
It works well on pale walls because the lifeguard towers, palm trunks and sandy beige give it enough quiet structure to hold its shape. A thin white frame keeps the edges crisp. If your wall is mid grey or warm cream, it sits even more clearly. On a bright white wall, go a size up so the composition has room to breathe.
What size suits an above-bed or above-console placement?
A large vertical size works best so the tall palms and open sky can breathe. Above a standard double or king bed, aim for a print roughly two-thirds the width of the headboard. Above a slim console or bench, a large portrait size centred on the furniture gives the calm, anchored feel the composition wants.
