How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright orange feel too strong in a small nursery?
It's a single warm note rather than an all-over colour, set against soft cream and gentle blue-grey, so it reads as a focal point rather than a loud wall. In a small nursery it actually helps the room feel anchored. Keep the rest of the room calm — pale oak, cream linen, one or two terracotta accents — and the orange settles in nicely.
Does this work as the child grows, or only for babies?
It grows well. The illustration isn't baby-specific — there are no nursery animals, no slogans, no rattles — just a small figure, a sun and trees. It reads as a gentle folk landscape, which suits a nursery, a toddler room and a primary-age kids' room. You won't need to swap it out at three.
What wall colour suits it best?
Chalky off-white, warm cream and soft plaster pink all let the orange sun do the work. Very pale sage or a warm putty grey also work. Avoid bright white gloss, which can make the cream background look dingy, and steer clear of strong pinks or lavenders, which will fight the orange.
