Riguardo a quest'opera
In un pomeriggio luminoso, il verde petrolio appare incredibilmente vivido. La coda si apre in tutto il formato, trasformando la parete da semplice sfondo a protagonista assoluta. Valorizza i toni senape e verdi di cuscini, tappeti e ceramiche senza creare rumore visivo: la forma a ventaglio, pulita ed essenziale, evita l’effetto affollato. Appendilo centrato sopra divano, madia o tavolo da pranzo, all’incirca all’altezza degli occhi, lasciando parete libera ai lati perché la coda possa “respirare”. Si abbina con legni scuri, midollino, ottone e tessili semplici. Evita di affiancarlo ad altre opere molto fantasiate o a carte da parati troppo movimentate. Su carta fine art, il tratto delle piume e la tonalità di carta antica restano nitidi e uniformi.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Il verde petrolio sarà troppo scuro su una parete esposta a nord?
Tiene meglio di molti verdi scuri perché gli occhielli oro senape e lo sfondo crema lo illuminano. Con una luce più fredda il petrolio tende a virare verso un verde bosco profondo. Se la stanza riceve pochissima luce naturale, una lampada vicina o una luce calda farà riemergere l’oro e impedirà alla coda di appiattirsi.
Quanto spazio di parete serve alla coda aperta?
Lasciale parete libera su entrambi i lati. Circa 90 cm di larghezza continua è un minimo sensato per un quadrato grande, di più se puoi. La forma a ventaglio si legge davvero come un ventaglio solo quando nulla ne affolla i bordi, quindi evita di stringerlo tra una cornice di porta e una mensola o di infilarlo in un angolo.
Funziona in una stanza che ha già cuscini e tappeti con motivi?
Sì, purché il motivo vicino sia più piccolo e più sobrio nei colori. Gli occhielli sono una ripetizione forte, quindi abbinali a tessuti lisci o leggermente materici e fai riprendere l’oro o il verde a uno o due elementi. Fiori vistosi o geometrie molto cariche sulla stessa visuale andranno in conflitto con lui.
