Riguardo a quest'opera
Lascia respirare la parete del pianerottolo. Una forma alta e nera richiede spazio intorno, e il muro della scala è il punto della casa che lo offre già. Tieni l’intonaco grezzo e gessoso. Evita passatoie fantasia, file di foto di famiglia e appendiabiti a metà rampa: un corrimano nero basta come compagno. Il tono pietra dei gradini valorizza legno al naturale e piastrelle chiare, così un pedata in rovere grezzo o un pavimento in pietra calcarea sotto creano continuità. Appendi il poster in modo che il punto più basso stia appena sopra la balaustra, poi sali accanto a lui. Nient’altro su quella parete. In un corridoio stretto vale la stessa regola, con l’opera rivolta verso la porta d’ingresso e la consolle ridotta a una sola ciotola. Su carta fine art il nero risulta opaco e profondo, e una cornice in legno nero rifinisce il bordo.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Lo sfondo chiaro si abbina alle mie pareti bianche o sembrerà un bianco diverso?

Il fondo è un bianco sporco morbido con un accenno di grigio, quindi su una parete bianco gesso o bianco caldo si legge quasi come la parete stessa e la forma nera sembra sospesa. Su una parete bianco brillante apparirà leggermente più caldo. Vanno bene anche pareti grigio chiaro e pietra. Evita avorio o crema, che fanno sembrare il fondo più freddo per contrasto.

Quanto deve essere alta per funzionare su una parete di scale?

Punta ad almeno 80 cm di altezza. Il design è alto il doppio rispetto alla larghezza, e i gradini in basso sono il dettaglio che si nota per secondo, quindi serve una dimensione sufficiente per leggerli dal piano inferiore. Su una parete scale a tutta altezza, un metro o più è la misura giusta. Appendila con la base poco sopra l’altezza del corrimano e lascia il resto della parete libero.

Deve per forza stare vicino a delle vere scale?

No. Accanto a una scala i due ritmi si richiamano, ed è un effetto piacevole, ma la forma funziona su qualsiasi parete piatta che abbia più altezza che larghezza. Il pilastro tra due finestre, una parete stretta d’ingresso o il fondo di un corridoio sono tutti spazi adatti. Conta avere muro libero su entrambi i lati, così la curva ha posto per muoversi.
