How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the mustard yellow work in a mostly blue room?
Yes — the mustard van is balanced by plenty of cream, soft blue-grey sky and washed sea, so it reads as a warm accent rather than a clash. It tends to lift cool blue or grey rooms rather than fight them, especially with cream or linen furniture nearby.
Does it still feel right in winter, or is it strictly a summer print?
It carries year-round. The palette has enough earthy green, deep red and warm cream to feel cosy in winter, while the surf and palms give a summery hit on grey days. Most people leave it up all year as a reminder of holidays.
Is the scene busy enough to read on a larger wall?
Yes. There are clear layers — beach and surf in the distance, palms in the middle, camper in the foreground — so it holds up at a medium-to-large size above a sofa or console. From a couple of metres away the painterly brushwork still reads cleanly.
