How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Tutto questo nero rischia di sembrare pesante in una cucina piccola?

Meno di quanto pensi. Circa metà dell'immagine è crema caldo, quindi il nero si legge come motivo e non come un blocco scuro. In una cucina piccola scegli una misura media e appendilo su una parete bianca o bianco sporco, dove il crema quasi si confonde con il colore della parete e restano solo le forme nere. Evita di metterlo su una parete scura, che chiude lo spazio.

Che formato funziona sopra un tavolo da cucina?

Punta a circa la metà o i due terzi della larghezza del tavolo. Per un tavolo standard da quattro posti, una misura media, intorno a 50-60 cm quadrati, va bene. Appendilo con il bordo inferiore a una spanna sopra gli schienali delle sedie. Scegli un formato più grande solo se il tavolo è contro una parete lunga e vuota, altrimenti il nero finisce per dominare il pasto.

Si scontra con le piastrelle decorate sullo sfondo?

Di solito sì, meglio di no. La scacchiera nel quadro è già un motivo, e un secondo motivo dietro lo rende più difficile da leggere. Appendilo su una porzione di parete dipinta liscia, anche se questo significa spostarlo di un metro dal paraschizzi. Le piastrelle metro bianche sono l’eccezione, perché la loro griglia si allinea ai quadrati invece di andare in conflitto con loro.
