Riguardo a quest'opera
L’oro fa ciò che la vernice non riesce: scalda e nobilita. Appendi questa tela dove la luce del pomeriggio svanisce: il fondo senape continua a lavorare, ravvivando un bianco gessoso come farebbe una lampada. Il gatto nero dà carattere al calore, così l’insieme risulta ricco, mai stucchevole. Gli ambienti più freddi ne traggono il massimo. Su un pianerottolo con moquette grigia il passaggio smette di sembrare un corridoio; in una camera esposta a nord svolge la stessa funzione, tra due finestre dove la luce è piatta. Accompagnala solo con una poltrona in velluto verde profondo o una maniglia in ottone: non serve altro. Quei due gatti portano già abbastanza colore. Lascia uno spazio di una mano di muro nudo per lato e lasciali svettare. Su tela il fondo dorato risulta più profondo, vicino a un pannello dipinto.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

L’oro si abbina bene alle pareti grigie?
Sì al grigio caldo, con cautela al grigio freddo. Il fondo senape porta un grigio caldo verso il tortora e il corridoio risulta ancora più accogliente. Contro un grigio azzurrato freddo, l’oro può apparire più giallo e il nero più duro. Se le tue pareti sono grigie fredde, aggiungi qualcosa di caldo vicino, come una mensola in noce o un gancio in ottone, e l’equilibrio torna.
Quanto grande dovrei sceglierlo per un pianerottolo delle scale?
Meglio più grande di quanto ti sembri comodo. Un pianerottolo si vede dal basso e da qualche metro di distanza, quindi fiori e puntini devono avere dimensioni sufficienti per restare leggibili. Punta ad almeno 40 cm di larghezza e 80 cm di altezza, e appendilo in modo che i volti dei gatti siano all’altezza degli occhi quando arrivi all’ultimo gradino. Un solo pezzo, niente accanto.
È troppo carico per una camera da letto?
Solo se anche il letto è molto decorato. I due gatti portano con sé molto colore piccolo, quindi abbinali a lino tinta unita in senape, crema o verde scuro e la stanza resta calma. Appendilo tra due finestre o sulla parete che vedi dal cuscino, ed evita cuscini rosa o arancioni che competerebbero con i fiori.
