Riguardo a quest'opera
In molte camere da letto c’è morbidezza ovunque ma nulla alle pareti che trasmetta energia. Qui sta la differenza. Appendi le due figure sulla parete stretta accanto al letto e l’ambiente smette di sembrare solo un luogo dove dormire. Il fucsia acceso su una parete bianca fa gran parte del lavoro, mentre il blu cobalto evita che il risultato diventi stucchevole. Biancheria in lino color avena o bianco sporco, senza fantasie attorno. Limita il blu a un solo cuscino. Una coperta a righe lo metterebbe in conflitto. La parete tra l’armadio e la finestra è l’ideale; appendilo con le teste appena sopra la tua linea degli occhi. Intorno al metro d’altezza, l’abbraccio appare a grandezza naturale. Più piccolo diventa l’immagine di una coppia; più grande e l’intera stanza prende ritmo. Su tela le pennellate si leggono come pittura anche da lontano e non richiedono vetro.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
I colori vivaci sovrasteranno una camera da letto piccola?
Molto meno di quanto penseresti, perché la maggior parte della superficie è fondo bianco e il colore resta in una colonna alta invece di diffondersi sulla parete. Tieni le pareti bianche o bianco sporco e la biancheria semplice, e il rosa e il cobalto diventano l’unica cosa forte nella stanza invece di una tra molte. In una stanza rosa o terracotta si fonderà e perderà mordente.
Quanto deve essere alta per una parete di corridoio o scala?
Il più possibile, idealmente un metro o più. A quell’altezza le due figure sono quasi a grandezza naturale e l’abbraccio si estende lungo il corridoio. Sotto gli 80 cm circa la coppia si rimpicciolisce fino a sembrare un poster e la pennellata smette di leggersi. Lascia uno spazio libero di una mano per lato e nulla su quella parete.
È evidente che le figure sono nude?
Sì, ma con discrezione. I corpi sono costruiti da blocchi di colore invece che da dettagli disegnati, quindi si legge prima come due persone che si abbracciano e solo dopo come persone nude. Molte coppie lo appendono in camera da letto per questo motivo. Se lo vuoi in uno spazio di passaggio, un corridoio o un pianerottolo vanno bene e nessuno l’ha mai trovato imbarazzante.
