Riguardo a quest'opera
Apri la porta d’ingresso e lo sguardo corre alla parete in fondo, poi sale. Una fascia scura alta su una parete chiara allunga subito il corridoio. Prima arriva il teal, poi il rosso e il senape: il tempo di togliere il cappotto e la parete sembra più alta. Questa tela funziona alla perfezione nel passaggio stretto di fronte all’ingresso o nella striscia vuota accanto alla scala dove nulla di largo entra. Mantieni la parete chiara: un bianco gessoso o un intonaco caldo fanno percepire il fondo scuro come un blocco voluto, non come un vuoto. Sotto, una panca bassa in noce, una ciotola per le chiavi, e fermati lì. Cuscini arancio o corallo nella stanza accanto riprendono il colore. Qualsiasi fantasia entro un metro entra in conflitto. Su tela, il fondo scuro arriva fino al bordo senza cornice, così la fascia sembra ancora più alta.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Il fondo scuro farà sembrare il mio corridoio stretto più piccolo?
Non su una parete chiara. Un blocco alto e scuro su bianco gessoso o intonaco caldo si legge come profondità, e l’occhio sale invece di andare in orizzontale, così il soffitto sembra più alto. Il rischio è una parete scura. Verde profondo o blu navy inghiottono il fondo marrone e lasciano solo i dischi, con un effetto incompleto. Tieni la parete chiara e lascia almeno un metro libero per lato.
Che formato dovrei scegliere per una parete della scala?
Vai sul grande. Su una parete di scala lo vedi dal corridoio sotto e dal pianerottolo sopra, e in entrambi i casi serve l’intera colonna per leggere bene. Circa 40 x 80 cm funziona su un piccolo pianerottolo, mentre 60 x 120 cm è adatto a una parete di scala a tutta altezza. Più piccolo di così e i cerchi perdono proporzione, e il pezzo diventa una striscia scura con puntini.
Quale colore dovrei riprendere in altri elementi della stanza?
Scegline uno, non tutti. Il teal è il più forte nel pezzo e basta un solo cuscino o vaso teal per collegare i due elementi. Il senape è la scelta più facile con mobili in teak o noce. Evita di riprendere insieme il rosso e l’arancione, altrimenti la stanza inizia a sembrare troppo tematica. Una parete bianco caldo e un solo colore richiamato fanno tutto il lavoro.
