Riguardo a quest'opera
Una colonna verticale di pini firmata Hokusai che guida lo sguardo verso l’alto e alleggerisce lo spazio. Appesa alla parete stretta in fondo a un corridoio, la trama dei tronchi neri slancia l’ambiente e fa percepire il soffitto più alto. La carta avorio su muro bianco gessoso mantiene un’atmosfera silenziosa e raffinata. Pavimento in frassino chiaro, passatoia di lino, e nient’altro su quella parete: l’effetto è essenziale e armonioso. In camera da letto trova il posto perfetto tra due finestre, dove il colore disturberebbe la luce naturale e il nero, invece, resta saldo e discreto. Sceglila in grande formato: sotto il metro d’altezza il soggetto rischia di sembrare un semplice repertorio botanico. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Il fondo bianco sporco sembrerà sporco contro una parete bianca brillante?
Si legge come caldo, non come sporco. Il fondo ha una tonalità morbida da carta, vicina al colore del lino non tinto, quindi contro una parete bianca brillante percepisci un lieve abbassamento di luminosità. Su una parete bianco gessoso o caldo quasi scompare e i tronchi neri sembrano posarsi direttamente sull’intonaco. Le pareti grigio freddo fanno apparire la carta ancora più calda.
Quanto deve essere grande per vedere i dettagli?
Le piccole etichette scritte a mano e gli aghi di pino più fini iniziano a leggersi da circa 90 cm di altezza. A quella dimensione, chi passa in corridoio può distinguere ogni albero. Misure più piccole funzionano comunque come accento verticale su una parete da scrivania o accanto a una porta, ma il disegno diventa più una sagoma che uno studio.
L’inchiostro nero è troppo netto per una camera da letto?
Non quando il resto della stanza resta morbido. Il nero occupa solo una piccola parte del foglio e la maggior parte è carta chiara, quindi l’effetto complessivo è leggero. Abbinalo a biancheria in lino color avena, legno chiaro e pareti grigio caldo o bianche e risulta calmo. Tieni gli altri oggetti neri, come lampade metalliche o cornici, a uno o due così gli alberi restano protagonisti.
