Riguardo a quest'opera
Il tardo pomeriggio è il momento in cui questa tela dà il meglio: il sole scende di lato dalla finestra della scala e i toni terracotta si scaldano con la luce. Verso le sei il ruggine assume il colore di un vaso d’argilla lasciato all’aperto tutta l’estate, mentre il salvia rinfresca l’insieme. Si abbina magnificamente a pareti in bianco caldo dall’effetto intonaco; un runner in lana non tinta a terra evita che il pavimento rubi la scena. Appendi la tela nella fascia alta tra la curva delle scale e il soffitto, dove un formato largo non entrerebbe. La luce del mattino è più discreta: i segni crema emergono, il rosa si addolcisce e l’intera parete appare più chiara finché la giornata non cambia. Una sola cosa su quella parete: lascia che sia l’ora a fare il resto. La tela intelaiata regge il fascio diretto senza riflessi, così può stare perfettamente allineata sul percorso del sole.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

La terracotta andrà in conflitto con le mie pareti grigie?
I grigi caldi con sottotono marrone o rosa funzionano bene, e i toni argilla li valorizzano davvero. I grigi freddi tendenti all’ardesia o al blu sono più difficili, perché l’arancio si contrappone invece di dialogare. Se il tuo corridoio è grigio freddo, ridipingere la parete dietro il pezzo in un bianco caldo è una soluzione economica e rende più accogliente l’intera parete.
Che misura dovrei scegliere per una parete scala?
Scegli una misura più grande di quanto ti venga spontaneo. Su un pianerottolo la vedi dal basso e da qualche metro di distanza, quindi una stampa sotto gli 80 cm di altezza sembra una striscia. Intorno ai 100 cm o più permette ai tocchi crema di leggersi come segni e non come texture, e il formato alto riempie il vuoto verticale tra l’altezza del corrimano e il soffitto senza bisogno di larghezza.
La base scura la fa sembrare pesante in una stanza piccola?
Il peso sta in basso, ed è proprio lì che una stanza può sostenerlo. Appendila in modo che la sezione prugna cada un po’ sotto il livello degli occhi, così la metà superiore più chiara in pesca e crema porta lo sguardo verso l’alto e fa sembrare il soffitto più alto. In una camera piccola, abbinala a biancheria chiara e tieni il pavimento luminoso, così il scuro resta una base e non un blocco.
