First glance: soft sky blue. Second glance: the abstract pattern doing something smarter. The scrolls are hand-painted rather than printed-perfect, so the stripes wobble and breathe instead of sitting flat. Hung up, it makes a plain wall feel finished without adding noise, and it pulls a light room together in a quiet, breezy way. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will pale blue and cream show up on a white wall?

Yes, though it stays gentle rather than bold. The blue stripes are strong enough to read from across a room, and the cream between them separates the piece from a white wall. If your walls are bright white, a slim white frame with a visible edge, or a soft grey-white wall behind, gives it a little more definition.

Does the pattern need to line up with anything in the room?

No, but it looks tidier when the stripes echo a vertical line nearby — a window frame, a tall cupboard edge, a panelled wall. Hang it centred on the furniture below and leave clear wall on both sides. Avoid squeezing it between two other pieces, as competing verticals make the stripes look restless.

Is it too much pattern for a small bathroom?

It shouldn't be. The colours are soft and the repeat is simple, so it reads as texture rather than busy pattern. In a small bathroom it works best on the largest clear wall, above a basin or beside the door. Keep the rest plain: one towel colour, one basket, no competing tile pattern.
