From the doorway, the tall oval shape reads clean. Up close, not polite. A black cat has claimed the shopping bag, and five orange fruit are sitting there wondering what happened. Hang it where people pause — a kitchen wall by the kettle, the end of a hallway, a small stretch of wall beside the fridge. The cream background keeps the wall feeling light, while the blue lines give a painted cupboard or a navy chair something to talk to. Pair it with pale wood, stoneware and a bit of rattan. Don't bury it behind open shelving or crowd it with busy patterned tiles — the linework needs a plain wall to hold its shape. On canvas the surface stays matt, so the flat blue and orange hold up under kitchen downlights.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the orange fruit clash with a warm kitchen?
It usually helps. The orange only appears in five small shapes, so it acts as an accent rather than a wash of colour. Against cream walls, pale wood or off-white cabinets it reads as a warm spark. The one place to be careful is a kitchen already painted rust or deep terracotta, where the fruit loses its punch.
Is it too playful for a living room?
Not if you give it a plain wall. The drawing is simple and the palette is only three colours, so it behaves more like a graphic piece than a novelty one. In a living room it sits best on a smaller wall, beside a bookshelf or above a low bench, rather than dominating the sofa wall.
Does the black cat get lost against a dark wall?
The cream background does the work, so the shape still reads clearly on navy, charcoal or deep green walls. What changes is the mood — on a dark wall the cream glows and the blue lines feel softer. If you want maximum contrast, hang it on a light wall instead.
