Riguardo a quest'opera

Think of it as Rothko with less reverence and better instincts. The colour still does the heavy lifting, but the printed dot texture keeps it grounded and a bit rough round the edges. Hang it on a plain wall and the room gains a proper focal point: the navy at the top lifts the eye, the deep red and warm brown settle everything back down. It works above a sofa, a desk or a low sideboard, and it holds a narrow wall between windows without crowding it. Pair it with dark wood, oatmeal wool and matt ceramics in cream or rust. Skip the busy patterned wallpaper and the shiny gold accessories nearby — this one wants a quiet backdrop and room to breathe. On fine-art paper the dot texture stays crisp and readable up close.

Stampa, Carta e Cornici

STAMPA E CARTA:

Esalta dettagli, tonalità e texture in modo straordinario.

Finitura opaca

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the dotted texture still look intentional in a larger size?

Yes. The dot screen is part of the artwork rather than an accident of scale, so it stays visible and deliberate as the size goes up. Larger sizes actually help: the colour blocks read clearly from across the room, and the grain reveals itself when you step closer. Very small sizes are where it can start to look like noise.

Does the navy band at the top clash with warm rooms?

Not usually. The navy is a narrow band and the rest of the piece is warm brown, deep red and off-white, so it reads as a cool accent rather than a cold artwork. In rooms with terracotta, leather or dark timber it acts as a lift. If your room has no other cool tones at all, echo it with a cushion or a ceramic.

Is it too dark for a small room?

It carries real weight, but the large off-white area through the centre keeps it from closing a space down. In a small study or hallway, hang it on the wall you see as you enter rather than the one you sit facing, and keep the surrounding wall plain. A single lamp nearby is enough to keep it from feeling heavy.
